Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about classic films and the ways people watch, discuss and return to them. Send proposals through the Contact page; a concise, specific idea is more useful than a complete draft sent without context.
What we welcome
Pitch a clear subject such as a viewing approach, a focused question about film-era context, or a format for making a film discussion more engaging. Contributions should be understandable to general readers and should not depend on specialist credentials or claims that cannot be checked.
A useful pitch
Tell us the proposed angle, what a reader will be able to notice or do, and why the subject merits its own piece. Include a working title and a short outline. Please say if the idea has appeared elsewhere or is being offered elsewhere.
